This is a amazing pinkish red pear cut Ruby & diamond ring, the cut and polish of the Ruby is excellent as is the saturation of color, you can see by the pictures the stone is a lovely deep pink and coupled with the cut and polish gives this Ruby wonderful color.
This wonderful stone falls on the border line of when a deep pink sapphire becomes a ruby. ( Please see pages on sapphires and rubies )
It takes at least 3 to 4 months from choosing the right sapphire to having the stone re-certified and of course having each ring designed specially for that gem, by doing so each ring becomes completely unique.
This is a outstanding sapphire which has being set into the custom made 14 KT white gold ring, you can see in picture's how well this ring had being finished to the smallest of details and with this lovely single band which has being finshed off with round cut diamonds.
